Paris-Salzburg
Last week, we all got overwhelmed by pictures of living and breathing angels with a body so incredible I might not eat chocolate nor fries for three weeks. The Victoria's Secret Angels landed in London, and no-one can possibly have missed with all social media being dominated by on-plane and behind-the-scene pictures.Tonight is the big night for Victoria's Secret, and I bet it will be amazing as always, but in my case, it was an entirely different fashion show that caught my attention. Do not understand me wrong, I will always love VS, but I must admit that I will always be more of a Chanel girl, and my unparted attention goes to the amazing CHANEL Métiers d'Art Paris-Salzburg collection that took place December 2nd in Schloss Leopoldskron.
It really is a pity that such an amazing show got overshadowed on social media, as this collection was stunning as always, and when I first saw the runway, I gasped. To me, it was a living Cluedo game, but much more elegant and delicate. The setting, the music, the models, the clothes, everything. The show breathed baroque, Mozart, old fairytales, Victorian era and military influences. A wonderful combination. Also the accompanying film "Reincarnation"directed by Karl Lagerfeld, featuring Pharell Williams and Cara Delevigne was stunning, as it really brought Empress Elizabeth of Austria (better known as Sissi) and her husband back to life. Sissi became CC, and I keep on being amazed by every collection and every movie Chanel releases.
