#Cosmopolitanchic
As a real big city girl, I love comparing different styles of different cities and their typical items; it may sometimes be very clichy, but still, every city has its own way of expressing their sense of style, and I liked this opportunity to think about what I would wear if I were to visit the city of gambling and glitters, the one and only Las Vegas.
If I were able to spend a day (or preferable, a week, maybe even multiple weeks), in the astonishing Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Resort, I would divide my day into three parts, which equals three outfits a day. One for tanning by the pool, one for a late lunch with a great shopping spree after and one for a fancy dinner and drinks after - and maybe even a fabulous Vegas club until morning.
When I think Vegas, I think glitter and glamour, bright colours and high heels. But as this is my personal style blog, I decided to mix my own style and Vegas style, and these three looks are the results. After waking up, showering and breakfast, I would hit the pool wearing a bright red ruffled bathing suit by Lisa Marie Fernandez and add some old Hollywood glamour by wearing a beach hat, statement earrings and popping sunglasses and rocking a bright red lip.
As we all know sunrays are incredibly bad for the skin, I would not stay in the sun too long, and go back to my suite to get into outfit number two: time for lunch and shopping! During daytime, not too many glitters for me, just some subtle sequins in my fabulous Kenzo skirt, combining it with a basic crop top and a gorgeous burgundy silk blouse. Add Saint Laurent flats for a comfortable walk around town (and the fact that I'm super tall already made me go for flats as well), a gorgeous velvet YSL clutch and a Marc Jacobs watch, just to make sure I get back to the hotel in time to get ready for the most exciting part of the day....
PARTY! As this is what Vegas is most of all famous for, this Matthew Williamson printed and sequined dress seemed more than appropriate. I added a pair of sky high Louboutins, a red lip and a fabulous House of Harlow clutch, and boom, party proof.
What do you think about my day in Vegas? What would you wear? Have you ever been to Vegas? If so, please share your experiences, I am more than curious to know!
