Graduation
My diploma has been tucked away for some time now, but four months after being informed of the fact that I graduated, it was time for the official declaration of the names of all those who are now officially certificated communication managers. It felt wonderful to hear my name being called after three years of hard work, long nights, making lovely friends and having a great time.
As this is an event that will remain a fond memory for all your life (at least that is what I have been told) I booked a train ticket from Paris to Brussels to attend my graduation. It was wonderful to spend the weekend home, seeing my best friends, my little sister and my family, and sleep in my own bed and be surrounded by my mother tongue again.
It was really nice seeing my former classmate's again, and catch up, as for all of us of the last few months have been very eventful. Some started working, some entered into their master programme, and it was interesting to hear everyone's stories and see all the people again that made college the most wonderful and educational time of my life.
Now a chapter has officially been closed, and I am already full into the new one. University here in Paris is heavy, with long days and a lot of work, but it is more than worth it: I literally learn new things everyday and enjoy every second of my life here. I feel great having been able to reload my batteries in Belgium last weekend, and I am totally ready for everything the future will bring.
